Backend developer: Enjoying your work at the moment?
I used to get lost in work, doing my little programming trick over and over instead of trying something new. Staring at my computer screen for the biggest part of my morning making tapping sounds on my keyboard so I seemed busy..
TIME FOR CHANGE!!!
- Nowadays I code for clients like KLM or Heineken, programming new stuff EVERY DAY! Half of the time I don’t know what to do with my new project because it’s ALWAYS NEW.
- Together with the team of 37 developers and designers we solve and program for the most awesome digital productions.
- Our projects are launched in 6-8 weeks, so no time tos pare, I LOVE hitting target nowadays (maybe a little bit because we celebrate like maniacs if we bring projects to a succesfull ending ;)
Before I started I really had to show ‘m what I got! This is how my skillset / resume looked like when I got hired:
- Maybe bored, but I knew my PHP raw coding skills like a master. So you love OOP, I repeat once more, YOU LOVE OOP!
- I already had experience with the Zend 2 and Doctrine framework, my other colleague used to work with Laravel and codeIgniter though.
- I already knew how to handle MySQL and API implementation.
